Princess 03:48
Come hear ye now this tale of olde About the girl who runs the show I am the pawn, I play the fool Here to serve and not to rule I've got honor to defend So I will tell you once again Princess Come down off your throne Or leave me alone Your every wish is my command Your power stretches 'cross the land Through the trees, I see the same No way to ease this royal pain I know it tears you up inside But by your rules I can't abide Princess Come down off your throne Or leave me alone (ye olde bridge) Although you subjugate me so I couldn't bear to see you go Princess Come down off your throne Or leave me alone

Awake 05:02
Kill the clock, go to work My blessing and a curse Up the stairs and down the hall Close the door, turn the lock Wish I could seal it off for good Seen the walls closin' in Just like the time before Never did to much to right it Told myself this is it I won't waste another year Trapped inside this (world) World's still sleeping I'm wide awake Plotting, scheming Planning my escape Eyes wide open Mouth wired shut Eyes wide open Talk too much A step ahead, a step behind What did you expect Who ever said that life was easy Step outside, take a walk Into my perfect world again Where no one sees me Daylight dreaming Sun in my face Inside screaming Take me from this place Eyes wide open Mouth wired shut Eyes wide open Talk too much Eyes wide open Mouth shut tight Eyes wide open Feels all right

Tossing turning in my sleep Trying to find serenity Searching for the light that once was me It comes and goes so easily Darkness ends where it begins Waging battles from within Just when all the pressure wears me thin You pick me up and I believe again Am I really listening To hear your voice inside of me Lost and found and in between There is no easy way for me It’s a wonder to behold To see your dreams slowly unfold All is sacred All is holy All is gold Never bought or borrowed, never sold But it’s still a mystery To hear your voice inside of me Lost and found and in between There is no easy way for me Tossing turning in my sleep Trying to find serenity Searching for the light that once was me It comes and goes so easily

Moonsong 05:05
From the seed of Artemis You’re destiny was sewn To reign over the darkness far below Brighter than the stars that shine Rivaling the sun You keep the balance You’re the chosen one We always change You still remain Here you will stay Until light rules again You’ve seen the rise and seized the fall In all your races run You’ve seen the good and damage we have done Your gaze it holds the mysteries That vanished from our sight You cast your secrets deep into the night We always change You still remain Here you will stay Until light rules again As the morning spreads its golden wings into the sky Your face becomes a shadow passing by Ebony will fade to day But good things never die The old man turns his weary head and sighs We always change You still remain Here you will stay Until light rules again

Perfect Day 04:20
Well I woke up From a wonderful dream A gentle smile upon my face I sauntered up To my front gate Walked right through I was amazed When I looked down The streets were paved with gold But I didn’t slip Then I looked up And saw the brightest sky I’d ever seen So I went down To the corner store And found some long, flowing beads They were shiny And they were free I put them on And it worked out perfectly Well I happened upon a park Next to a clear running stream I had stop and see So many flowers And honey bees And all of the colors there for me Tested the water Up to my knees And It was warm About 75 degrees And as I looked down again My strand of beads Turned to butterflies And it worked out perfectly As I laid down On the green, green grass I heard a whisper through the wind-blown trees Furrowed my brow In disbelief And felt my soul mate laying next to me Had no place to go And nowhere I’d rather be So I held her close And we drifted off to sleep

The Door 03:57
I know I can make it I just don’t know when When all of my troubles Come calling a again I hold on to faith And I wish it to end When all of my troubles Come calling again I know what is good And I know that it’s right I won’t live in sorrow Or give up the fight To rise from the darkness And live in the light I see what you give And I know that it’s right I’ve seen all the joy And how good life can be I’ve seen all the bad times And longed to be free I’ve felt the indifference Somewhere in between It took a long time But finally I see I’m picking the lock While I’m holding the key

about

"Tinman Revisited" is the "completed" version of the self-titled EP by my band "Tinman". If you're into alternative rock, punk pop, 90's rock or 70's rock, there is something special on this album for you. And personally, being able to revisit some of my most popular songs has given me a sense of closure and renewal.
